Garden in Plaxtol

Set in the Kent countryside, this naturalistic garden was developed around a converted oast. The hard landscaping wraps around the house with swathes of perennial and ornamental grass planting punctuated with ornamental trees leads the eye out across the surrounding orchards.

Steps and a clay paver path lead up the pool garden which is laid to Faro porcelain paving and bespoke pool copings to match. Slatted Iroko fencing, bespoke Iroko pergola and Hornbeam pleaching shelters the garden from the prevailing winds. Swathes of planting around the pool integrate the garden into the wider landscape.
