Project in Benenden

The brief for this design was to create a garden that sits harmoniously within the rural setting and leads the eye out into the wider landscape. The paths and paved areas are laid to Limestone paving and clay pavers to give a natural surface underfoot. The planting mix of Yew balls,Stipa gigantea for its soft transparent effect and shrubs and perennials provide a frame of colour and interest around the house and terraces. The meadow provides a wildlife haven and connects to the wider local landscape.
