The contemporary indoor swimming pool needed to be connected to the existing cottage and mature garden. Travertine paving creates a very smooth surface under foot and clay pavers link to the cottage. Planters with Box balls and Bay columns soften the rendered walls and provide some foliage interest. Box hedging. Lavender and Holly half standards, marry in with the existing planting around the orangery to give an evergreen frame around the terrace.
